(besides the more important things that are already on the list) When the display preference is set to focus on the body, fix it so that gecko-based browsers focus at the beginning of the body like the rest do. Then in addition to the already cool focus settings, add a sub-preference to the focus preference which allows you to choose whether it focuses at the beginning or at the end. Then after that is done, make sure that those actions don't get overridden by the html plugin. (if possible). Probably just better to fix the html plugin. The whole focus deal might seem like a minor thing, but it's more productive when I don't have to mess around with the damn cursor before I start typing. Like I was told, I have switched to replying below the quoted text instead of above because that's the way squirrelmail was made to be used. With that said, having the focus at the beginning of the message doesn't make sense. I'll just have to move it to the end and then press enter once or twice before I start typing. I really only like replying to emails that were sent by aol or by squirrelmail. Most other emails are setup to reply above. So if I reply to one of those emails and then reply back, the quoted text is going to be funkily out of order. As I was also told, you only need to quote a little bit anyways. Seems like I have to do a lot of deleting/editing everytime I reply. (except for emails that were made to reply below). It's not too big of a deal to me. I'll get over it. I'm just whining :-)as I think others have a concern for this. On another note, personally, I would rather just be able to have an html mode where I can put in my own html code, instead of having a wysiwyg editor that the html plugin is. That would help with opera as the html plugin doesn't work with opera. Yahoo's "allow html tags" feature is what sq mail really needs. I can't use the html plugin because I use opera. Again these are just suggestions. I can deal with it the way things are now, but others may not. A few more options won't hurt, but taken care of more important things is a priority. Shadow2531 |
