I remember a while back (searching the archives + my memory) Jimmy Conner created a .reg file to set up SquirrelMail as the default mail client in windows. I found the FAQ referencing it, created the .reg file, and got it set up. I also remember that there was an error with this setup for 1.2.5, but it was claimed that this is/would be fixed in 1.2.6. In testing with 1.2.6, it works... kinda. It pops up a new compose window, but the To: field gets populated with "mailto:em...@ad...". I don't think we need the mailto: part, yes? Also, if for some reason there's a space between the colon in the mailto link and the beginning of the address, it adds a %20. It's almost there, and I *love* the idea, as I do ALL my emailing in SquirrelMail now. :) Thoughts? -Rick |
