If MDN support is a plugin it shouldn't have it's own configuration option in conf.pl ? The turn on/off on systemadmin level is done by enabling/disabling the plugin. I also have doubts about the current approach that now have been implemented. I would like a more general approach something in the way I suggested (or something similar).
