I have SquirrelMail users from around the world using
my server and
the server runs UCT to make life easy for me. Allowing
a user to
specify what TZ they are in, in their personal
preferences could give
better headers on mails as far as the users are
concerned.

I second this request. I am a SquirrelMail user on
SDF, and they have their server set to Zulu time.
It is kind of annoying to see mail with times that
are 6 hours in the future. If I could specify what
timezone I was in, and have SquirrelMail filter the
headers to show times in terms of my local timezone,
that would be ausome. Clearly, it's already filtering,
    converting "14:10:00 (-0700)" to "9:10 pm", so couldn't
it just be set to adjust the time to a user-specified
TZ rather than the server's TZ?

Thanks for your suggestion, since newer versions this is
    possible in SquirrelMail.
