SquirrelMail version 1.4.23 [SVN] + quoted_printable_fix-1.4.x-version_2 patch
Installed on SLES 12
Apache Version 2.4.10
PHP 5.5.14
If I try to Reply (or Reply All) to a message which has an =?iso-8859-2?Q?= encoded From: header, the resulting reply form isn't pre-filled with recipient(s) address(es).
If the From: header is encoded with as UTF-8 (like '=?UTF-8?B?xIx1cmkgTXVyaQ==?='), it works OK.
Please attach an example message (full source) and provide your translation settings from config/config.php (default_charset, lossy_encoding, etc), as well as what user interface language is being used when you see the issue, thank you
I'm attaching an example message encoded in ISO-8859-2 - note that email addresses and IP's have been obfuscated.
Additionally I discovered that anything encoded in ISO-8859-2 doesn't transfer to the message composition form when I choose 'reply' or 'reply-all' - including the Subject and body of the message.
My settings are:
$squirrelmail_default_language = 'en_US';
$default_charset = 'UTF-8';
$lossy_encoding = false;
I'm not 100% sure, what interface language users have been using, but as I'm testing / replicating the issue, I am using English.
I'm attaching another version of the same message - encoded with UTF-8. With this one, Squirrelmail works as expected, all the fields are pre-filled after selecting 'reply' or 'reply-all'.
