I installed Squirrel v3.0.2 and would like to access my Oracle DB 10g.
At first I have to setup the appropriate drivers. When I open the dialog
"Modify Driver: Oracle Thin Driver"
then there are a couple of entry fields. One of them is labelled: "Example URL"
Shouldn't this be called just "URL"? As far as I can see I have to replace <server>
and <database_name> by real values. So it is necessary to enter some absolute
required parameters and the field is not just for example.
Furthermore I would like to know how I can tell Squirrel a priority of available drivers.
Assume I have 3 different *.jars (in the same directory) for Oracle DB. How can I tell Squirrel
to take the drivers from the second *.jar?
