The "standard" plugins (that is, the plugins which are considered
stable) are shipped with the installer now,
which is available here:

The Syntax Highlighting plugin is responsible for the color in the SQL
editor tab. It's considered "standard",
and should be installed for you when you install 2.0RC1.
