Actually, I just recently upgraded my JDBC driver to 10g. (There was a
bug that I was tripping over in the
9i driver when talking to a 9i database server.) Believe it or not, the
10g driver works well with the 9i database.
In fact, it solved the problem I was having with the 9i driver as well.
