Hi Dani,
I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.
I've been successful in connecting to Oracle 8.1.6 using the JDBC/ODBC
bridge under WINNT SP6 and Sun JDK 1.3.1 and 1.4beta3 and Oracle ODBC driver
2.573.4202.00.
My guess would be that the version of the ODBC driver that you are running
isn't working too well with the bridge. Squirrel depends very heavily on the
meta data methods in the driver and these seem to be the last thing that the
vendors put in.
Could you tell me what JDK you use, OS type and version and ODBC driver
version and I'll try to chase the problem further.

Subject: [Squirrel-sql-users] some features
Hi,
just downloaded .jar installer, oci:thin drivers and running it..
As a Pl/Sql programmer I think it should let view procedures and actions
inside of its package tab, instead of whole procedures listed together. It's
quite difficult readable.
Also I've not been able to connect via jdbc:odbc driver, cause login window
hangs. I don't think it's not a disfunction of my driver cause yesterday I
tried succesfully a simple connection with a single query execution from a
.java of mine using jdbc.odbc... can you login ?
The program is good... continue working on!
Dan.
