There is a fork of mine that wasn't merged yet by the JMeld maintainer.
The fork is available here: https://github.com/gerdwagner/jmeld
I just upgraded the fork to the latest version and checked it out. It
seems to work alright.
To build the updated version of the jar that is contained in SQuirreL
you should build with Maven and use the attached patch of the pom.xml.
