Pat,
I haven't seen this behavior. I've put my Mac to sleep overnight and
in the morning when I attempt to do things in the session window, I'll
see an error in the log stating that the connection has been closed.
But I can reconnect and session is back to normal. Do you have any
exceptions in the log file (just after killing it)?
