Gerd:
After playing with the imported aliases more, I realized that they did
not drop into the list because it was not in Tree mode. Once I switched,
they dropped.
The simplest solution is probably to switch the list into Tree mode
before accepting dropped aliases.
If instead of fixing drag-and-drop you could look into the reason why
aliases are being accessed during the shutdown even if they were not
connected, it would help immensely! That remote iSeries that is sitting
across the Atlantic is killing me.
