Does this explain the 30 second delay before the shutdown? I do have 2x MySQL aliases, and when I click on them, each connects almost instantaneously. They lead to a server on my LAN. However I do not recall ever checking off the connect at startup option since started using Squirrel many years ago. I will double check if any of them have it.
