sorry, I can't reproduce your lines limit problem.
Does anyone know of a Oracle configuration that causes such behavior?
On 'select :var from dual':
The only way to parametrize SQLs with SQuirreL is by the sqlparam
Plugin. If you installed it you may consult the Plugin's help to see how
parameters work.
