[Squirrel-sql-users] Squirrel sql query editor screen flickers on Mac OS X 10.8.4

Hello,
I have a Squirrel-SQL 3.5.0 installed on my 15" MBP(retina display) running OS X Lion (10.8.4).The problem I am facing is while typing any character into the query editor window which tends to flicker on a key press or a mouse capture/selection.
I have tried adjusting the display resolution to various dimensions but to no use eventually.
is anyone else experiencing the same ? If yes, can you please suggest a possible solution for this.
