Hi, To be honest, I don't have much experience with java but I'm trying to install Squirrel SQL for one of the developers here where I work. At first, I tried installing it on my own PC and I was successful indeed. Using the command below I got the graphical install screen and all the icons in the applications menu were properly created. Overall everything works in my PC. *java -jar squirrel-sql-3.4.0-install.jar* Then I have tried the same thing in the developer PC. They were running a version of java and openjdk more updated than what I have in my personal Xubuntu PC, so it SHOULD work. But then I just get a console installation menu, which in the end doesn't create any icons in the application menu and therefore I believe it is not really installing as it happened in my PC.
