On IBM AS400/iSeries/System i/IBM i - call it what you will -Each table
has two names - the 'normal' table name, and a 10-character-maximum
'system-name' or 'short-name'.
99% of the time these days the short name does not matter, but in a few
cases it is very important to know what it is.
In Squirrel's object explorer, if I have a table that has an index, and
I right click on the*index* name, the underlying table's short name is
displayed with the other information about the index.
However, If you right click on the*table *name, the table's short name
is not displayed.
Please enhance the table display to include the table's short name.
Thanks
Roger
