Good day
I've just recently started using SQuirrel -- it's quite a nifty sql
environment. Kudos!
I just want to report some odd behaviour:
I'm using SQuirrel with JayBird, connecting to a Firebird database
(1.5.3). I've noticed that long periods of inactivity cause the data
connection to be dropped. This is just mildly annoying (and has nothing
to do with SQuirrel). The problem arises that when this happens, trying
another query fails with the correct error message (that the connection
has been lost), but then SQuirrel goes on to consume 100% cpu whilst it
writes (never-endingly; or rather, only to be ended by killing the
process) to the log file in ~/.squirrel.
I'm using SQuirrel under windows XP, installed from the 2.3.1 installer .jar
Thanks for your time spent on this.
