[Squirrel-sql-users] SQL 7.0 compatability

Hi 
I am using Squirrle SQL Ver 2.2 final. Can I connect to SQL 7.0 using this?
I can able to connect to my  SQL server 2000. But when I tried to connect to
my SQL 7.0 server I am getting an error message "The TDS prelogin response
is incomplete. The target server must be SQL Servr 2000 or later." - Can
anybody clarify on this?
