[Squirrel-sql-users] Problems trying to connect to a MVS DB2 database

Hello!

I'm getting an error message when trying to connect to
a MVS (mainframe) DB2 database. The database's OS is
the OS/390 7.1.2. (I believe so).

Additional informations:
- I'm using the IBM DB2 Net Driver in SquirreL;
- The url jdbc:db2://<server>:<port>/<db-name> is
correct;
- The user/password are correct;

But I'm getting the following error message: <base
name>: [IBM][JDBC Driver] CLI0615E  Error receiving
from socket, server is not responding. SQLSTATE=08S01

Do you know the reason for this error message? Is it
possible to connect to a DB2 database in a mainframe
(MVS) using SquirreL?

Please, if you know the reason and what I can do to
fix the problem, please let me know.

P.S.: I can connect to the same database using the DB2
Command Center. I have just the DB2 client installed
in my machine.
