Hello Rob,
network can't be the issue here.
If I am using the Oracle 9.2... JDBC drivers everything works well. But if
I switch to Oracle 10.1... JDBC drivers I get the error. This behavior is
reproducible by switching between the different versions of
"classes12.jar". This is true for an Oracle 9.2... database.
I just found that everything works well with the 10.1... JDBC drivers if
one connects to a 10.1... database.....
This should not happen. According to Oracle client and database can
interact if the difference in the major release number is not bigger than
one.
I assume that the seen problem is an Oracle problem and not a SQuirreL-SQL
one.
Thanks
Stefan
