If you check this, messages will be written to squirrel-sql.log. For PostgreSQL the log entry will look like. 40096 [Thread-3] INFO net.sourceforge.squirrel_sql.client.session.mainpanel.SQLResultExecuterPanel - Error: java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: relation "wart" does not exist, SQL State: 42P01, Error Code: 0 Hope that's what you need.
