Hi David, I guess you're not talking about a SQL Update statement. This would be like update MYTABLE set mychar = 'z' You probably mean updating data in the contents tab or in a SQL result. I tried out both on SQL Server and char(1) field and it just worked fine. Could you give some more details? What OS do you use.
