You're going to have to give us some more information. Exactly what error
did you get?

Have you gone through the documentation that comes with the MySQL JDBC
driver (I assume thats what you mean by JDBC connector) particularly the
"trouble shooting" and "Driver Class Name and JDBC URL Format" sections?

Hi,

This is my first time using the Squirrel SQL Client.
I could install it successfully, but while I am trying to create an alias to
my MySql database using JDBC connector, I need to enter my database
name(entered correctly) and database directory(??? left blank), I get a
connection error.

Any idea what this is about?
