Hi John Thats an error message from the server/driver. Although you say you've installed the metadata information it appears that this was not successful otherwise you wouldn't be getting this error message. A couple of possibilities - Have you checked if the metadata tables were created? - If they were created is your user profile authorised to use them? - Did you run the script as sa? If you didn't your user profile may not be authorised to the tables. - Did you run the correct version of the script? I believe that depending on which version of JConnect you are using you need a different version of the script. This is a problem with Sybase/JConnect, not SQuirreL so you'd probably get a more knowledgeable response on a Sybase/JConnect list.
