Hi Denis,
I've just installed PostgreSQL under Cygwin and installed the sample ISBN
data types. The current CVS version of SQuirreL will display columns of
these data types if you have "SQL Other" checked in the "Format" tab in
Session Properties. So it should work for you in the 1.2 beta when it is
released.

Subject: [Squirrel-sql-users] Bug when displaying user defined data
types?
Hi Folks,
I've just noticed a problem displaying a Postgres
user-defined data type in Squirrel 1.1 Final.
I have a data type of 'ISBN' which I can display
correctly with other clients (psql or a php script)
but Squirrel is displaying it as 'other'. The output
looks like this:
psql output squirrel output
============= ===============
isbn_table isbn_table
1-56592-286-7 <Other>
0-14-043789-4 <other
0-88687-800-4 <Other>
0-575-05054-3 <Other>
. .
. .
cheers,
Denis
