The tool is great. We are hoping that it will eventually become a
replacement for Toad.
I installed the Oracle extension because I wanted to look at our PL/SQL.
Like most Oracle
sites, we have a rule that there shall be no "orphan'd" PL/SQL. This means
that all PL/SQL
code -must- be in Packages and not just straight procedures and functions
outside of
packages. The Oracle extension is great but it can't show PL/SQL in
packages, only
orphan'd procedures and functions. So I have three enhancement requests:
1) Allow viewing PL/SQL in Packages (this one shouldn't be too big)
2) Allow Editing/Recompiling PL/SQL Packages (obviously, this could mushroom
into a full-blown
PL/SQL editor tool and that is what I'm intending here)
3) Provide a feature to do EXPLAIN PLANs on SQL statements (I know this one
is not small either)
