Thanks to Lynn Pye there is now a native installer for OS X 10.2.x. This will not work with 10.1.x. This has minor adjustments to use the Aqua LAF and with the menu bar appropriately positioned. To install download osx-squirrel-sql-1.1final1-install.pkg.tar.gz from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=28383&release_id=124587 and use StuffIt Expander or equivalent to open the installer (doubleclicking on the .tar.gz file should do this). Double click on the .pkg file and the installation will begin. It is set up with appropriate defaults, so you should only need to click through to complete the install.
