Hi Jason, The MySQL plugin isn't a MySQL JDBC driver, instead it add some MySQL specific functionality to Squirrel. You need to be running the 1.1 version of Squirrel to use plugins. You need to download a JDBC driver for MySQL. I would suggest using MM.MySQL https://sourceforge.net/projects/mmmysql/ If you are using a recent version of 1.1 then the Help option from the Help menu should tell you all you need to know about using JDBC drivers with Squirrel. If you are using Squirrel 1.0 then read the files within the doc directory within your Squirrel program directory. When I'm trying to create a new driver in Squirrel, do I put that .jar file in the JAR field? What do I use for the driver?
