Dear development team,

a query like

"select to_char(birthdate,'YYYY') from person where birthdate<to_date
'12.12.1995','DD.MM.YYYY')"

does not work in SQuirreL 1.1 beta 1 and beta 2 although it is working in
Oracle
SQL Plus.

It throws the following error:
Error:     ORA-00911: invalid character

SQLState:  42000
ErrorCode: 911
