Argh, call me dumb.
Okay, I copied the skins into the right directory, but I used just one skin
and didn't create a special folder for that. Just extracted them and got 2
to choose in the programm (icons, kde, gtk). Took a closer look at another
program that uses skins and found the difference.

Thanks a lot for the patience. Will recommend you and you little pet :-)
