[Squirrel-sql-users] Can't see table schema through SYNONYM, but SQL Developer can see it in "Other Users"

I have read-only credentials for an Oracle database.  We have to access many of the tables through a synonym.  I can query them, but I can't see the column definitions.  I can do completion on the column names in the SQL buffer, but I'd still like to be able to see the column definitions.

Someone else here uses SQL Developer to access the same database, using the same credentials, and if they go to the "Other Users" section, they're able to see the column definitions.

Is there an analog of this in SQuirreL, or is it not possible to do this at this time?
