You can change the location of the preferences. Give the launch script some
additional arguments. For example,
--user-settings-dir c:\temp\.squirrel-sql
will cause SQuirreL to read and store preferences, aliases and driver
definitions in this directory instead of <user.home>\.squirrel-sql
