Hello, To answer your question, yes, the code is licensed under the GNU Lesser Public License (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-2.1.html) which guarantees that you can use, but most importantly also modify the source code as long as you contribute your changes back to the community, if you distribute those changes in binary form. Certainly, as a user, and not a developer, you can freely download and install the software as many times on as many machines, for use by as many people as you like. As developers, we also strive for quality as best we can in our free time as a hobby. Please go easy on us :) As far as supported databases SQuirreL supports any database that supports JDBC access via a JDBC driver (JDBC is the Java technology for accessing databases in a generic way). The Oracle JDBC Driver database ( http://devapp.sun.com/product/jdbc/drivers) lists some vendors for Nonstop SQL/MP, including Attunity as well as Compaq, Tandem Division. They might also support the MX variant.
