The driver definition dialog hasn't changed in version 3.0.x. The URL is a "template" that will be used as the initial value of "JDBC URL" whenever you create a new alias. You must still specify a class name - it is filled in for you though when you add a new jar via "Extra classpath" and also if you happened to toss the jar file into the lib/ folder.
