Hi,

Apologies in advance, I searched the archives but couldn’t find an answer to what’s probably a stupid question.

Database is PostgreSQL 8.4, using driver postgresql-9.3-1101.jdbc41.jar under Java 7 update 51.

Where ‘ip’ is defined as type ‘inet’, the following query:

select ip,count(ip) from reports group by ip order by count(ip) desc

returns:

ip,count

<Other>,23

<Other>,21

<Other>,15

<Other>,9

Is there something I need to do to persuade Squirrel to display PostgreSQL’s ‘inet’ type as a string?  The actual values I see (in psql, using pgAdmin, etc.) are normal dotted quad IP addresses.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

gowen
