#6 Add data modification to tables

General (118)

It is very practical to be able to modify the data
directly in the table, without have to execute a SQL
command. (like M$ Access)

This is being looked at as a plugin in a future release.

For whatever my two cents are worth, I'm throwing them
behind this feature. This is the NUMBER ONE feature I'd
want in any SQL client. Plugin or core makes no difference
    to me.

Is there by any chance something in beta?

Yes! SQuirrel is perfect and this is probably the only one, but
definitely very fundamental feature, which I miss... Hope the
    plugin will be available soon...

Is this also in development for 1.2?
How about a status update on what new features might make it
    into 1.2.

This feature has been partially built in the current
development branch. At this time it should handle simple
integer and string fields. However the current
implementation needs significant improvement which I hope to
    get around to soon.

Minor note: this is being done as part of the core, not a
plug-in as was mentioned in one of the other responses.

1.2beta1 has been released with the first cut of data
maintenance. Glenn is going to continue enhancing it through
    the 1.2 series.
