I can imagine that this spreadsheet functionality might be convenient for some users. (Unfortunately the developers didn't turn on "Ticket Voting", which would allow measuring need to some extent.)
The sum might be useful as well (maybe even the median).
But how to select a column? (Currently repeatedly clicking the header cycles through the "sorted ascending", "sorted descending" and "unsorted")
The "Overview/Charts" tab could offer that for one column in the tooltip showing the distinct count.
Currently you can select a range (though each select line is "marked" in gray), so if a 3 by 4 cell range is selected the calculations should be done for the selected range, right?
What if in the selected range there are strings or date columns?
What about strings that look like numbers?
Some users might want the Min,Max,Median for a dates?
(LibreOffice allows to calculate the average of dates)
