#469 Show selected row count (like result row count)

I'm a data steward and I constantly need to count different rows from result set. It would really make life a lot easier when Squirrel would display the number of rows selected in result set. Like in Excel when You select rows, it shows the number of selected rows in the bottom corner (and also sum and avg etc, but that's irrelevant). It's probably VERY easy to implement as well...

As a workaround you can show the row numbers and calculate the difference. (Unfortunately you cannot freeze the row number column on the left; I considered filing a feature request for that but I didn't need it often enough to request draining developer time from more important tasks.)

You already pointed out that spreadsheet programs offer more functionality than SQuirreL, I want to point out that in SQuirreL you can only select one continuous region, which is just one of the reasons why after pulling up the desired data I have to use a spreadsheet program anyway (LibreOffice BTW) and I don't want SQirreL's output window morph into a bloated spreadsheet program (I am happy about the new search function though).

A recommendation (that probably will not go down well with the original poster, but I want to keep the developers is a good mood for their good work :-)
If I were a developer reading that something is "probably VERY easy to implement" would probably cause me to reply that you are VERY welcome to submit a patch.
On a positive note I welcome the feedback of your needs, because that is how the developers find out what might still be missing.
