On IBM AS400/iSeries/System i/IBM i - call it what you will -Each table has two names - the 'normal' table name, and a 10-character-maximum 'system-name' or 'short-name'.
99% of the time these days the short name does not matter, but in a few cases it is very important to know what it is.
In Squirrel's object explorer, if I have a table that has an index, and I right click on the index name, the underlying table's short name is displayed with the other information about the index.
However, If you right click on the table name, the table's short name is not displayed.
Please enhance the table display to include the table's short name.
