I have tab delimited files, where a blank between tabs really should be inserted as one blank (there are many NOT NULL columns)
I only could get the import to work when I double quoted the blanks (not only making the files larger and less readable, but also needed the additional step of getting the blanks quoted).
So I envision an option in the import dialog, where I can choose any Text Delimiter (even none).
Double quotation marks should be shown by default.
Remark: with Open Office' sCalc you can choose any Text Delimiter on export/import. With some limits this allows you preserving the quotation marks in your data.

(I understand 1 is the lowest priority; as I have a work-around it isn't urgent)
