Would like to have the ability to view multiple result
sets from a select statement or stored procedure call.

    can you give me an example when multiple result sets are
    returned with one query?
    I haven't encountered those yet i believe

    I would also use this a lot if it were available. As an
    example, you might do:
    select * from table1
    select * from table2

    ... and the results from the two tables would be displayed
    on the same results pane (actually, you would need 2 results
    panes displayed side-by-side, or one-above-the-other). The
    MS Query Analyzer does this, and it's very handy, e.g. to
    compare data from 2 tables.

    but you can almost do that currently:

    select * from table1;
    select * from table2;

    will give you 2 result tabs, those tabs you can compare to
    each other but that is not directly easy so you can extract
    one or both tabs out of the tabbedpane. Then you will have 1
    or 2 internal frames with the results that you can tile of what
    ever you want.

    Johan added this functionality into 1.1, if you are running
    1.0 you will need to update to the latest beta of 1.1.

    CVS has been updated to handle multiple result sets from a
    single statement. This will be available in the next 1.2
    release.
