#996 Ctrl+Space code completion broken

As of the last few snapshots (from back around May-June?), Ctrl+Space no longer completes anything for me.

I've double-checked that I am loading and cataloging all schemas/objects but it doesn't seem to make a difference -- nothing happens when I press Ctrl+Space.

Has something changed in regards to the Ctrl+Space completion behavior?

Thanks much in advance.

PS. I'm on Windows 7 x64 using JRE 1.6.0_26. Currently using Snapshot-20110718_1848.

I realize there was another bug (3325300) created for this but it was referencing the official 3.2.1 release and it was subsequently closed by the person who opened it.

    Same issue to me.
Since Snapshot August sometimes codecompletion won't work.
I cannot figure out why and why only on some objects, but now - also switchback to 3.2.1 final - it won't work.

could you please tell me on which DB / JDBC driver this happens. Are you using any Alias schema properties or Object tree filters (see menu New Session Properties --> tab Object tree)?

It's rather strange; I upgraded from the 20110718_1848 snapshot to an August snapshot and then reverted back due to the the issue in Bug 3393589.

So now that I'm back on 20110718_1848, the Ctrl+Space completion started working again and I haven't had any problems with it.

I will try upgrading to a new August snapshot again and report back (now that I know how to get around the bug 3393589 annoyance).

For me, I don't have any object tree filters or alias schema properties (i.e. I cache everything) or alias schema properties and I'm using mainly DB2 databases via the IBM JDBC 4.12(?) drivers.

As for updating, I keep all my saved user settings and I simply use the built-in updater every time, so my settings are left untouched between the updates as far as I can tell.

Thanks again for all your work.

An update.. I am using code from SVN Trunk, the code which will eventually be 3.5.0. Once I placed the codecompletion jar in the plugins directory, it was recognized by the application on startup. I was able to use CTRL-Space to bring up code completion functionality. It worked as expected, in my admittedly cursory testing.
