We use a DB2/400 environment. The following steps reproduce the problem:
- Create a table with some fields an at least one date field
- Add some data to the other fields, but leave the date field empty, or give it some other value that causes Java to return null, but it should still be valid for DB2 (like 0001-01-01)
- Do a select on said table
- Click make editable
- Try saving your changes
A pop-up will appear, stating: "This row in the Database has been changed since you refreshed the data. No rows will be updated by this operation. Do you wish to proceed?".
Clicking "Yes" yields the following message: "No rows updated".
And no changes to the table are made.
