If I try to delete the content of a database table via the context menu ("Datensätze löschen") on a table in the objects view, the content of the table will not be deleted. I'm using SQuirelL version 3.2.0 with postgres 8.4 database.

    Hi,
did you get any error? There are many reasons, why you cannot delete the content of an db-table. Have you any foreign-key-constraints?
What is the content of your log file? See the log-panel left from the memory-consumption for any error logs.

Ahh, you're right an error occured after confirming the message box ("Do you really wan to delete all records in the selected tables(s)?...":

    Logged by net.sourceforge.squirrel_sql.client.Main at 12/14/10 10:02 AM:

Exception occured dispatching Event java.awt.event.MouseEvent[MOUSE_RELEASED,(214,457),absolute(215,460),button=1,modifiers=Button1,clickCount=1] on frame0

    HTH,
    Sven
P.S.: Table is free of foreign key constraints.

    Hi Sven,

thanks for the info - i could reproduce the Exception. It ends in an StackOverflowException within the ProgressCallbackDialog. It seems this bug is basically the same as "Cannot Drop Tables - ID: 3123014".

I have submitted patch "3136697" which should solve this problem. I will test this tonight.
