I'm exporting Sql from a tool that gives me the Sql in one long string. Squirrel has the FormatSql command which is great and formats the Sql nicely, the problem is it doesn't preserve the carriage return/line feeds at the end of each line.

What I end up doing is pasting into TEXTPAD and saving it there.

Is there a setting that will preserve the carriage returns so I don't have to take this extra step ?

per Robert Manning:
That appears to be a bug in the FormatSql command. It hard-codes "\n" instead of using the platform-dependent line separator.
FormatSQLCommand.java (line 64)
