Sorry, I can't reproduce your problem neither on Windows nor Linux or Mac.
Can you post what OS and Java version you are using?
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
21H2
19044.1415
Java 8 update 311
Java (TM) SE Development Kit 17.0.1 (64-bit)
Sorry, on my Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit) system running SQuirreL with Java 17.0.1+12 (Temurin) the problem is not reproducible.
You may try the following:
Note: SQuirreL 4.3.0 as well as for current snapshots won't run with Java 8. The minimum required version is Java 11.
It's okay, just a minor nuisance. Thanks for looking into it though.
My compliments on this gem of an SQL client. I used to have Oracle SQL Developer run my slightly underpowered Lenovo Yoga L380 straight to the ground, whereas Squirrel doesn't have an impact on performance whatsoever. On top of that it's even more user friendly!
According to https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/138075-weird-characters-are-added-to-printed-in-my-note-when-entering-a-shortcut/ there is a problem when the default language is Dutch. Switching to English (US) apparently helps?
To solve this problem one may try out changing the ctrl+alt+t shortcut. See menu File --> Global Preferences --> tab Keyboard shortcuts.
