#1401 Dates older than 1940 display as null.

Dates older than 1940-01-01 show as <null>. Is there a fix or setting to resolve this?
There's also an old ticket that is similar - reporting that dates 2040/forward also only show as <null></null></null>

This bug is not exactly a duplicate of 921 (https://sourceforge.net/p/squirrel-sql/bugs/921/) but very close. That's why this bug is closed as duplicate and discussion will be carried on in 921.
