Just started using Squirrel (v3.7, downloaded today) to accesss a Derby embedded database. I can successfully attach to the database and see my tables in the left-hand pane in the Objects tab. When I select a table, most of the tabs in the right-hand show info as expected. However, the Contents tab remains blank and the stack trace below is posted to the squirrel log (COPYRIGHT is a column from the table I was inspecting). I can interrogate the table without problem from the SQL tab.
