I have installed the most recent versions of Squirrel SQL Client (V3.5) and the iSeries/AS400/System i/i5 (whatever we call it this week!) JDBC driver, JTOpen V7.9. I can happily connect to our iSeries and run SQL statements successfully. In the Object window view, I get a list of schemas (aka libraries) and can expand the list of object types. However, when I try to expand the beyond the object types (e.g. by double clicking on the TABLE entry), the list of tables is always empty. In contrast, when I use the JDBC-ODBC Bridge driver to connect the iSeries, the tables will all appear as expected in the Object window.

This problem appears to arise from the default settings, which result in Squirrel trying to load its initial lists with every table in every schema/library on the iSeries. When I changed the settings to limit the result set to just two libraries of interest, then the expansion of the table lists was successful.

I tried to limit but this thing does not remember the settings, so when i restart I lose it all. Never achieved to list the table names under the Table node...
